FAQ for Singularity UltraMatch
Quick answers to common questions about how this line behaves on the field.
- Will heavier UltraMatch BBs hurt my gun?
In a properly tuned DMR or sniper build with the right spring and hop, heavier BBs are expected and do not inherently damage the platform. The key is matching your spring, hop, and field limits to the weight you choose. - Do I need to upgrade my spring to run UltraMatch weights?
Not always. Many DMR and sniper builds are already set up for 0.36g–0.45g. If your gun cannot lift the BBs or drops short, talk with a tech about hop and spring tuning rather than forcing a heavier weight. - Can I chrono with heavy UltraMatch BBs?
Some fields chrono snipers on heavier weights, others require 0.20g. Always follow local rules; you can chrono with whatever weight the field specifies and then adjust within their policy.
Who this is not for
- Not for CQB or rental guns that can’t properly lift heavyweight BBs.
